Hey, it's the Iowa Land guy, and here's the top 50 questions that I get asked about farmland. What is an A L C? A L C is a designation that the Realtor Land Institute puts out for people that would like to accomplish or tackle that designation. It stands for Accredited Land Consultant. There's very few across the nation that have earned this designation.

I'm proud to say that I am a, uh, holder of that designation. The a l. C accredited Land consultant. Along with that accreditation, there is, uh, classes that you have to take, um, from tax implications to Land 1 0 1, uh, uh, land Investment Analysis and others. But the big part of it is you have to also show experience and sell at least $20 million in volume.

in a five year span, uh, to get the designation of accredited land consultant. It's a way to tell potential sellers that, uh, you are in the market and that you, uh, um, have knowledge in the farmland world. Accredited land consultant, ALC.
