Davis County History
Davis County was formed in 1844 and named in honor of Garrett Davis, a U.S. Congressman and Senator from Kentucky. As of the 2020 census, the population was 9,110, with Bloomfield serving as the county seat. Historical information is sourced from Wikipedia.
