There is also a site for ground storage with an estimated capacity of 250,000 bushels. A separate dump pit and 150' 8,500 bph grain leg fills these bins. One of the unloading augers from 240K and 315K bushel grain bins empties to this leg and pit. The second auger in each bin empties into a conveyer which moves the grain back to the main receiving pit to be moved into the whole grain leg into the mill. The primary grain storage for the mill are two 2 25,000 and 1 30,000 bushel bins. Each of these has a concrete hopper bottom below ground level. The 25,000 bushel bins each have two unloading augers, two fans, and a roof fan. The 30,000 bushel bin has three fans, two unloading augers, roof fan, and caged ladder. The unloading augers empty into a conveyor which transports the grain back to the receiving pit to the whole grain leg into the mill.
